The Savvy Sisterhood - Workshop on the Waterfront

Last weekend I was able to go to the Inn at Perry Cabin - to be a part of the Savvy Sisterhood - Workshop on the Waterfront. It was so wonderful to be with so many creative and professional ladies! The speakers were great - and were truly inspiring! Oh - changes are a comin... there is so much I want to do.... only if I had all the time in the world and an unlimited budget!!! Seriously - I was inspired and it felt great to get the creative juices flowing! I met some great new friends - that I can learn so much from!!! I also learned a thing or two about myself. It was well worth the trip... including the terrible drive over the Bay Bridge (white knuckles and sweaty palms all the way - holy moly!!) I am very grateful to the ladies that organized the workshop! :)

OK - check out this furry bundle of joy!!!! Is he not delicious??? He belongs to a neighbor down the street - but boy - he's so cute he makes me wish he was mine!!!! :)

WOW!!! It's been so long!

So, I know I need to update more.... I know I do.... but a full time job, two kids, a husband, three dogs and a ginuea pig can keep a person busy!!! So I took a step back from the camera - hoping I would truly appreciate it's wonderful artistic spirit again. Now don't get me wrong - I have picked it up for the wonderful snow pics - and the kids sporting events.... but I wanted to pick it up because I wanted to each time.... not because someone else wanted me to! I took a break and hey - I have even read 4 books (huge for me - I am a slow reader).

So now Spring is here - and I am feeling inspired.... Looking forward to a colorful season!

We went to the OuterBanks NC again this year - a "ladies" trip. My longest friend in the world and her wonderful mother and children - and my mother and children. We had a blast! Oh and Otis and Ella went too and boy were they the hit of the Beach!!! Otis will get ANYONE to throw the ball. It was awesome to see them take off running for the water!

Hi!!

So here it is the middle of the summer and I have yet to update my blog! Well it has been quite a few months to say the least!! We have had soccer, T-Ball, and Swim Team all one on top of the other! In late Spring I had some major, major problems with my computer. It was quite the struggle backing everything up and getting through the remaining jobs I had already begun. Recently I upgraded to the MacBook Pro - and it is fabulous! It has been an adjustment - though... and I am still learning how to navigate it as we speak! I have had a difficult time moving over the image files from my external hard drive... which has been the reason for lack of updates... I even took it to the Apple store for help - and they were puzzled as well...

But we are well on our way now... More to come of the next week or so!
